Announcement of termination of electronic appointment scheduling concerning “Citizen Services” from September 1, 2016

From September 1, 2016, the German Institute Taipei will proceed in “Citizen Services", practicing free access to the Consular Services Room without electronic appointment. "Citizen Services" are offered from this date in the period from Monday to Thursday in the morning in time from 9:00 to 11:30 hrs. We will not be able to provide Citizen Services on Fridays.

Important notice:

Because until 31 August 2016 all appointments are still booked by the recent electronic appointment system, a considerable number of visitors are expected in the first days of September. The German Institute will be able to serve each day up to 30 customers in "Citizen Services". The German Institute Taipei will seek appropriate measures to remove any possible residues in a short time.

Due to the specific standards of the building management of the "Taipei 101 Tower" the German Institute is strongly recommending:

·         Don’t come before 8 o’clock!

·         Don’t queue up in the building or on its premises after the approval of the 30 customers and don’t stay there overnight!

You can contribute to easing the situation, if you come with your matter for "Citizen Services" a few days later after September 1st.
